“Ved is precisely what you should be looking for in a product leadership coach.  He has the hard-won experience leading product for strong organizations, he's worked through inspiring product visions, effective team topologies, and data-driven product strategies, and he has spent decades developing others through his coaching skills.”

Jason Hamilton,

VP-Product, Snagajob

“Ved proved to be a critical thought partner who was very comfortable both discussing high-level strategic issues as well as jumping in and driving important strategic projects to successful realization. I'd highly recommend Ved to anyone thinking through product and/or growth strategy and execution and would happily work with him again.”

Maurizio Gianola

VP Engineering, Upwork

“Ved is a very talented Consumer/SMB product executive with a clear grasp of product, customer experience and business issues. He is intelligent, a deep thinker and articulate. He built an outstanding product team, and led them to innovate and work creatively but also at a very fast pace. I recommend him very strongly and without reservations.”

About Me

I've lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 20 years. A key experience was being part of the early <15 person team building what later became Upwork. As VP of Product & Design, it was thrilling and immensely challenging to create innovations and teams that ultimately would lead to an IPO. Since then I've led Product/Design teams as CPO at fast-paced B2B, B2C, Marketplace companies, backed by top-tier VC including Benchmark, Greylock, KPCB, IAC.

I've also worked as VP-Product for Digital Transformation at Robert Half, a F500 enterprise, where I learnt how to deliver innovation within a non-tech culture.

I was privileged to start my product management journey with Marty Cagan as my coach way back in 2006. My career started with Oracle as a systems engineer and with Booz Allen Hamilton as a management consultant. I studied Computer Science and Philosophy as an undergrad and got an MBA from the University of Chicago.

On a personal note, I am an experienced meditator, with over 33 days in vipassana silent retreats, which has helped me understand how to be authentic to yourself, and how to be intense, but also calm.

My goal now is to help product leaders and teams to grow, adapt, and become resilient so they can achieve the impact and success they want to deliver.
