About Me
I've lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 20 years. A key experience was being part of the early <15 person team building what later became Upwork. As VP of Product & Design, it was thrilling and immensely challenging to create innovations and teams that ultimately would lead to an IPO. Since then I've led Product/Design teams as CPO at fast-paced B2B, B2C, Marketplace companies, backed by top-tier VC including Benchmark, Greylock, KPCB, IAC.
I've also worked as VP-Product for Digital Transformation at Robert Half, a F500 enterprise, where I learnt how to deliver innovation within a non-tech culture.
I was privileged to start my product management journey with Marty Cagan as my coach way back in 2006. My career started with Oracle as a systems engineer and with Booz Allen Hamilton as a management consultant. I studied Computer Science and Philosophy as an undergrad and got an MBA from the University of Chicago.
On a personal note, I am an experienced meditator, with over 33 days in vipassana silent retreats, which has helped me understand how to be authentic to yourself, and how to be intense, but also calm.
My goal now is to help product leaders and teams to grow, adapt, and become resilient so they can achieve the impact and success they want to deliver.
